Debit Cards

PIN-based cards are processed like credit cards, with clearance coming from the back-end network. In some cases, consumers use the credit card option when paying with bank-issued debit cards. At other times, consumers will enter their personal PIN numbers, which is the only way they can receive bank approval to receive cash. PIN-based transactions protect merchants from credit card fraud.

Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT)

Government programs such as food stamps, Women/Infants/Children (WIC), and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) are often distributed on debit-like cards. Funds are automatically transferred to your account.

Purchase amounts are transferred from the check writer's account through the ACH network and credited to your business account.
